SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man has been charged with his 5th drunken driving offense after rear-ending another vehicle Saturday afternoon. 54 year old Daniel Kissel was formally charged Monday in Sheboygan County Court with felony OWI after allegedly causing an accident at Moenning Road and Old Plank Road in the town of Wilson. According to the criminal complaint, when State Troopers arrived on the scene, Kissel admitted to having drinks the night before, but said he didn’t have anything to drink the day of the crash. While he was speaking with officers, they detected the smell of alcohol on his breath. Kissel failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. If convicted of this felony offense, Kissel could spend the next 6 years in prison.
