STATE COLLEGE (WKZO) Penn State football coach Joe Paterno has decided to retire at end of the season. According to ESPN and AP Paterno will announce his retirement later Wednesday.

Paterno has been under criticism for how he handled the alligations of molestation against his former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky. 

Paterno is 84, and has won 409 games at Penn State
