SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - The Sheboygan man arrested over the weekend for attempting to rob a Sheboygan bar has been formally charged in Sheboygan County Court.  43 year old Dennis Fischer was formally charged Tuesday with felony attempted robbery after officers were called to Screamers Tavern and Braveheart Pub to investigate the incidents Sunday night.  According to the criminal complaint, while Fischer was at Screamer’s Tavern, he tried to steal a purse from a woman, but was stopped before he was able to leave the bar.  Fischer later attempted to rob The Braveheart Pub on Calumet by threatening to kill one of the customers if the bartender wouldn’t handover the money in the register.  If convicted, Fischer could face 7 ½ years in prison.
