Sheboygan, WI (WHBL) - Construction zones in Sheboygan County caused some major traffic backups over the holiday weekend.  Late Friday afternoon the State Patrol reported a three-mile backup on northbound I-43 in the Cedar Grove area at Highway 32.  Then yesterday, beginning about 4:30 and continuing until about 7 o’clock, the same thing on I-43 southbound at Highway 42.  The State Patrol reported delays there over a 3-mile stretch due to the construction.  However, one listener who was traveling I-43 yesterday tells us it was much worse than that.  She tells us that traffic was backed up from Highway 42 all the way to Cleveland and it took her about an hour and a half to cover that distance.
