Sheboygan, Wis. (WHBL) - Lakeland Automotive announced plans on Tuesday to create 30 new jobs in the City of Sheboygan with a proposed $5.6 million expansion. Dave Heather, president of Lakeland Automotive, says this new expansion should add 30 new full time jobs over the next two years. The plan includes a new facility, a remodel of their current facility, and updates to their shop. The city of Sheboygan is helping out with the project with a $300,000 Business Development Loan, according to Chad Pelishek, Development Manager for the city. Mayor Bob Ryan says, “Lakeland Automotive’s location is the first thing people see when they exit I-43. The proposed explansion plans will welcome people into the city limits and create new jobs for the city as well.”
