Sheboygan, Wis. (WHBL) - Get used to seeing those orange barrels on I-43 - they’ll be there for a while. Work begins today on 18 miles of the interstate between Highway 42 and the Sheboygan/Ozaukee County Line. Kim Rudat with the State DOT says this 14.5 million dollar project will include repairs to some bridge decks, along with the resurfacing of sections of the highway, overpasses, and ramps. Rudat says they expect traffic to flow smoothly in construction zones during the project, which is expected to last until August of next year.
