PASADENA, CA (WTAQ) - Wisconsinites attending the Rose Bowl will get a few tastes of home – including recall fever.

Organizers of the recall effort against Governor Scott Walker say they’ll have petitioners in southern California for Monday’s game between the Badgers and Oregon.

They plan to hold a rally before the game. And they’ll circulate petitions amid the students and other Badger fans attending from Wisconsin.

Organizers say they’re close to getting the 540,000 valid signatures they need to force a recall election against the Republican governor.

The deadline to file the petitions is January 17th.
