MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - Authorities said a UW Milwaukee student was heavily drunk when he died after falling down a set of stairs.

The medical examiner’s office said today that 23-year-old Patrick Martin fell down 10 wooden stairs in the basement of a friend’s house last Friday.

He was at a house party for five hours, and his blood alcohol level was point two-six-eight when arriving at a hospital.

Martin died about 11 hours after he fell.
