MADISON, Wis. (WTAQ) - The alleged drunk driver accused of hitting three University of Minnesota students on Interstate 39/90 near Madison had two beers and a shot of liquor before the crash, according to prosecutors.
They say Bradley Erickson told investigators he was drinking just hours before strking Marcus Johnson of Milwaukee, Elysia Rapp of Racine and Wilfredo Ugarte of Puerto Rico, as they changed a tire.
Erickson is charged with three counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
