DE PERE, Wis. (WTAQ) - An 81-year-old woman has died in a crash in which Highway 41 was shut down for six hours during the weekend.
Louise Krainer of Oshkosh died Sunday from injuries suffered in the Saturday night crash near De Pere.
According to authorities, a car driven by a 28-year-old Pulaski woman crossed the median and hit an oncoming car driven by Krainer’s 85-year-old husband. The two drivers were both in critical condition at last word at separate hospitals.
Hobart-Lawrence police investigators do not suspect alcohol or high speed as contributing causes in the accident. They’re still investigating.
