Sheboygan, Wis. (WHBL) - Republican Mike Endsley won a very close race to win election to the 26th Assembly District seat in Tuesday's election. Endsley, who lost his job when Thomas Industries left town, defeated 8 year veteran Terry Van Akkeren by 151 votes. Van Akkeren says he’ll make a decision on a recount in the near future. He said he was apparently the victim of the anti-incumbency, anti-Democrat wave that swept Wisconsin and the nation.
