SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan man has now been formally charged for both sexual assault and armed robbery, committing both crimes within days of one another.
21-year-old Gregory Torres is charged with Second Degree Sexual Assault, False Imprisonment, Armed Robbery With Use of Force and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.
According to the criminal complaints, Torres met with the mother of his child at the Fountain Park Motel on April 26th. It was during that encounter when an argument ensued and Torres prevented the woman from leaving. He then threw her down on the bed and assaulted her.
Then on April 28th, during a drug transaction in the 500 block of North 8th Street, Torres pulled a handgun on his dealer, taking marijuana before fleeing. The assault and robbery each carry a maximum of up to 40 years behind bars.
Also arrested in connection with the robbery were 29-year-old Alexis Torres Sr., 26-year-old Leslie Orta, both of Sheboygan and 20-year-old Isaiah Irby of Milwaukee. All three are charged with Harboring a Felon, which could net each of them up to three and a half years in prison.
