MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - A 6-year-old girl was killed in Milwaukee as her uncle was racing a car driven by her aunt – and another vehicle hit them. The district attorney’s office is reviewing the incident, which happened Sunday night on Milwaukee’s northwest side.
According to police, 6-year-old Christina Beal was 1 of 5 people in a car driven by her 39-year-old uncle. He was allegedly racing a vehicle driven by Christina’s aunt – and they were both going about 70 miles-an-hour when an oncoming car turned in front of them. That car collided was hit by the one Christina was in.
She died at a short time later at a Milwaukee hospital. Both drivers and 3 other people in the racing vehicle were also hurt, but police expect them to survive. Christina’s uncle has been arrested in the incident.
