SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) - A Sheboygan infant is in critical condition and a Sheboygan man has been arrested for allegedly injuring the child. 

Captain Jim Veeser said Sheboygan Police received a 911 call about 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon reporting a one-month old child not breathing.  EMT’s responded to the 3500 block of Eisner Avenue and rendered aid.  The infant was then taken to Sheboygan Memorial and later transferred to Childrens in Milwaukee and is listed in critical condition.  

Veeser said officers interviewed a 23 year old male who said he had dropped the child, however he was arrested and now facing a charge of 1st degree reckless endangerment as a repeater due to being a convicted felon.
