MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - A Milwaukee woman who helped kill a mother and 2 of her kids had a premature birth by the same father of the murder victim’s third child. That’s what authorities now say about 19-year-old Brittney Robertson – who was allegedly killed by the 2 men charged in the other 3 slayings. Robertson had a baby boy in December by Maurice Visor, but he died soon after birth. Around the same time, Visor had another son born to Rachel Thompson – who was killed February 26th along with Thompson’s 2 older sons. Visor was in prison at the time. Robertson was living with Thompson at the time, and police said the killings occurred out of Robertson’s jealousy, and her belief that Thompson had a lot of money hidden in her home.
Police said Robertson and her 2 alleged co-robbers took $800 while killing Thompson and her 2 kids, and they then burned the duplex to try and cover up the crimes. They then left with the boy Visor had with Thompson – and Robertson left him in front of a church, where he was later found unharmed. She was later reported as missing, and police said her co-robbers killed her to avoid being caught themselves. Anthony Barnes and Desmond Laster are each charged with 4 counts of homicide, arson, and possessing firearms as convicted felons. They’re due back in court on Friday.
