Sheboygan, Wis (WHBL)  The Sheboygan Area School Board met again in closed session last night to review administrative proposals for staff reductions next school year to head off a projected budget deficit.  Board President Dave Gallianetti said nothing is yet set in stone, but it looks more and more like there will be layoffs.  He said layoffs will be a last resort and that's why the board continues to meet with employee groups in the hopes of getting concessions to avoid them.  Gallianetti said the meetings with employee groups will continue through April with a final decision expected when the board meets on April 27th.  Gallianetti said this time around they want to make sure employee groups see any plans for layoffs before they happen.  He said it gives them a chance for input, and although they may not be on board with the plans, at least they can talk with the board about them.
