MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - A former Milwaukee County sheriff’s deputy will be sentenced Friday for beating a handcuffed suspect who asked to use a restroom. Prosecutors said 38-year-old Sergeant Scott Krause had just left his squad car when a suspect in the back seat used his foot to tap on a window and said he had to urinate. Krause then responded by hitting the man in the face. The incident happened last October. In January, Krause pleaded no contest to felony misconduct and misdemeanor battery. And he lost his job as a deputy.
