MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - 4 people have been killed in Milwaukee in the last 2 months by speeding vehicles being chased by police. The latest such incident occurred early Monday. Officers said 21-year-old Melinda Moore walked onto a street and was hit by a van around 2:30 a.m. Police Chief Ed Flynn said officers stopped the van because they thought it was stolen – but the driver took off and hit Moore a short time later. Officers caught up with the vehicle later, and 3 people were arrested. But the driver is still being sought.
