Arrests made in Milwaukee quadruple-murder

MILWAUKEE (WSAU) Five people have been arrested in the murders of four in Milwaukee last Friday. But Police Chief Ed Flynn says officers are still trying to determine what roles the suspects played.

23-year-old Rachel Thompson and two young sons were killed just before their duplex was set on fire. 19-year-old Brittney Robinson, who lived with Thompson, was later found shot-to-death elsewhere in the city. Flynn said the five people arrested were acquainted with Robertson, but it’s not known if they had any links to Thompson. The police chief said Robertson was involved in the murders of the Thompson, but he’s not saying how. And officers have not said anything about possible motives – although they’d said the killings were not random.

Flynn said investigators are still trying to quote, “tie together a number of critical incidents.” And he called it an “extremely complicated investigation.” Also, officials are not saying why Thompson’s six-month-old son was found unharmed outside a church Friday afternoon. Maurice Visor had a different father than the two murdered kids. Visor’s father, also named Maurice, is in prison for violating the terms of supervision that resulted from fleeing an officer.
