MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - 5 men have been charged with one of 14 business robberies which Milwaukee Police say are related. The defendants are all in their 20’s. They’ve all been charged with using shotguns to hold up a Cousins’ sub shop on Milwaukee’s northwest side in late January. But prosecutors say 3 of the 5 men had admitted being involved in between 4 and 9 other robberies.
There were a total of 14 shotgun robberies over the last month to businesses on Milwaukee’s north and northwest sides. They netted between $100 and $2,000 each. Those charged with armed robbery are 20-year-old Demetrius Richardson, 22-year-old Quenton King, 22-year-old Maurice Collins, 23-year-old Jermaine Heard, and 25-year-old Gregory King. Police say a 6th man was arrested Sunday, and charges against him are pending.
