GREEN BAY, Wis. (WTAQ) - The Green Bay Packers have signed their 1st-round draft pick Bryan Bulaga.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports on his Twitter account that the deal for the former Iowa offensive lineman is for five years and $14.75 million. Of that, $8.76 million is guaranteed.
Bulaga was the team's final unsigned draft pick and the team gets ready for training camp to open Saturday.
Bulaga was a three-year letterman and two-year starter at Iowa. He appeared in 30 career games, including 28 starts, and allowed just 3½ sacks during his collegiate career.
A first-team All-Big Ten selection by both the league’s coaches and media in 2009, he was also named by the coaches as the conference’s offensive lineman of the year.
