MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - The former executive who stole 34 million dollars from Milwaukee’s Koss Corporation will be sentenced October 22nd. Federal Judge Lynn Adelman accepted a guilty plea yesterday from Sue Sachdeva.
She signed a plea deal earlier this month which called for a five year prison sentence. But prosecutors could still recommend something much longer. Sachdeva pleaded guilty to all six felony fraud charges filed last December.
And she agreed to pay back all of the 34 million she stole to buy lavish clothes, vacations, improvements to her 800 thousand dollar home in Mequon, and much more.
As part of the plea deal, the home will not be seized but the federal government will try to obtain about 269 thousand dollars in equity on the home.
