MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - Milwaukee’s Portrait Society Gallery is featuring a new exhibit of postcards. Included are 160 palladium portraits of contemporary people taken over the past two years by John Shimon and Julie Lindemann of Manitowoc.
Both are regarded as antiquarian avant-garde artists who use early photographic techniques as part of their contemporary art. The exhibit runs through October second. Shimon and Lindemann are also assistant art professors at Lawrence University in Appleton.
