MADISON, Wis. (WTAQ) - And the winner of the Wisconsin governor’s race is … Undecided.
52 percent of those surveyed in the latest UW-Madison Badger Poll are not sure which lever they’ll pull in November. Most of the 500 people questioned between June 9th and July 10th say they don’t know enough about any of the 3 major candidates to say whether or not they like them.
Of those who have made up their minds, over 2 of every 3 voters say they’ll pick the eventual Republican nominee over the only major Democrat in the race, Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.
Barrett only got 15 percent in the Badger Poll, while 32 percent said they’d vote for either Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker or former Congressman Mark Neumann. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 percent.
