MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WTAQ) - Federal and state justice officials announced the arrests today of 21 known gang members and associates in Milwaukee. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said 14 suspects are in the Mexican Posse street gang – 12 are in the country illegally – and the other two can be deported because of their criminal backgrounds. They include convictions for crimes involving drugs and weapons. Among those arrested is a 40-year-old man who’s thought to lead the Mexican Posse. Federal officials say he faces deportation.
