Sheboygan, Wis. (WHBL) - A young Cedar Grove woman struggling to maintain a drug habit is now facing a charge of felony theft. 19 year old Kristen Scholler was charged yesterday and could be sentenced to up to 6 years in prison. She allegedly stole two handguns from her father last September which she traded for drugs from her supplier in Milwaukee. According to the criminal complaint filed yesterday in Sheboygan County Court, Scholler told investigators that she uses heroin, crack and pills and had drained her bank account of $16,000 to support her habit. She said she also had obtained $8,000 from her grandfather, and most of that was spent on drugs. She said she stole the guns after getting threatening text messages from a drug dealer in Milwaukee regarding money she owed him. Scholler said her dealer wanted guns for drugs and that last September she took the stolen gun to Milwaukee and traded it for $200 worth of crack.
