RUSK COUNTY, Wis. (WTAQ) - A teenager from northwest Wisconsin was killed after two snowmobiles collided on a trail in Rusk County. The DNR said 16-year-old Michael Alexander of Bruce was a passenger on a snowmobile that ran in the center of the trail, and collided with an oncoming machine. Alexander was ejected, and the 2 drivers both received non-life threatening injuries. It happened on Tuesday near Bruce. Alexander is the 18th person to die in Wisconsin snowmobile crashes this winter. That’s one fewer than on the same date a year ago.
