Milwaukee, Wis. (WHBL) - The 6 hour standoff is now over and a man is under arrest in Milwaukee after parts of I-94 and the Marquette Interchange were closed down as the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department dealt with a standoff situation in Milwaukee. It began about 4:00 when the Sheriff’s Department apparently pulled over a stolen vehicle and began negotiating with the driver. It was all over just after 10am when a robot busted out a back window of the vehicle, dropped in some tear gas, forcing the suspect out of the vehicle. He was then taken into custody, and folks are now waiting for the freeway to reopen.
