WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. (WTAQ) - A boy is dead following a snowmobile crash in Washington County.

Officials say it happened about Noon Saturday in the Town of Polk.

Authorities in Washington County say the 7-year-old was riding on a snowmobile with an adult, neither was wearing a helmet. The driver lost control of the snowmobile and it flipped several times.

Both were taken to the hospital, where the boy was pronounced dead. The adult's injuries are considered non-life threatening.
