JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wis. (WTAQ) - Jefferson County authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist.

57-year-old Craig Conway of Beaver Dam died in the accident, which occurred Monday afternoon on Highway 16 near Ixonia. According to sheriff’s deputies, a semi-truck made a “U”-turn in front of Conway’s motorcycle and the two collided.

The truck driver, a 39-year-old man from South Carolina, was taken to a hospital in Watertown with non-life-threatening injuries. Conway died at the scene.
