MANITOWOC COUNTY, Wis. (WTAQ) - Authorities in Manitowoc County say a person is dead after a two-vehicle crash near Kiel Friday. Officials say it happened just before 11 a.m. at the intersection of Lax Chapel Road and Highway XX in the Town of Schleswig.

Investigators think the driver of a minivan heading northbound on Lax Chapel Road did not stop at a stop sign and slammed into a truck headed west on XX. The female passenger of the van was killed. The female driver of the truck was airlifted to a hospital. No word on her condition.
