BARABOO, Wis. (WTAQ) - A pilot was injured when a small plane crashed near the Baraboo-Wisconsin Dells Airport. A witness said the craft was battling strong winds before it went down in a field late Thursday afternoon. The pilot was reported to have numerous facial cuts, and was disoriented but conscious. His identity was not immediately released, and there was no word on his condition. A medical helicopter was called, but was sent back due to the winds.
