UNDATED --  Its still a long long way from the election, but A.G. Mike Cox leads Cong. Pete Hoekstra in the 5 way race for the GOP nomination by one slim percent…27 to 26% among likely republican voters.  

Mike Bouchard got 15% and Sen. Tom George and Businessman Rick Snyder got 2% each.

Lt. Gov. John Cherry is the clear front runner on the Democratic side but doesn’t fare as well in head on head comparisons with the Republicans.

The Inside Michigan Politics Poll sampled 600 voters last week.
