WAUSHARA COUNTY (WRN) - A 12-year-old girl killed in a 2 vehicle crash in Waushara County was identified Wednesday as Sara Bender-Munsch of rural Plainfield. She was in a car driven by a 16-year-old girl. Authorities said it veered out of control, crossed the center line, and hit an oncoming vehicle. The second driver was in critical condition at last word at a Neenah hospital. The condition of the teen driver was not disclosed. She had severe injuries to her head and lower torso. The crash occurred Tuesday morning on Highway 73 in the Waushara County town of Oasis. Bender-Munch was one of at least 5 people killed on Wisconsin roads Tuesday.
