MILWAUKEE (WRN) - It’s often said that shoplifters don’t need to steal – and that was especially true for a Milwaukee doctor and his wife who got picked up last weekend. They’re accused of stealing over $1,500 in merchandise from Macy’s in the Mayfair Mall. According to the Journal Sentinel’s “Wauwatosa Now” Web site, the couple went to the store with the intention to shop. And with the store so busy, police said the 30-year-old doctor’s wife wanted to find out if they would get caught. Officers said they raided almost every department in the store, hiding merchandise in bags from other stores and a stroller which carried their two kids. When he was caught, police said the 39-year-old man called it a “game” to see what they could take. He said he was a doctor who made $150,000 a year, and had more than enough to pay for what he took.
