MILWAUKEE (WRN) - More police officers will be walking the beat in Milwaukee. The state Office of Justice Assistance has given a $188,000 grant to the city’s police department. Chief Ed Flynn said the extra presence of foot officers will make folks feel safer – and it will encourage more social contacts in Milwaukee’s neighborhoods.
