Paul Ryan's Mid-Term Budget Blue Print

I agree with the take that this budget is really intended more to frame mid-term election debate versus something that will ever become law. And yes, this budget includes the pain needed to get the country back on stable fiscal ground, even moreso than previous Ryan efforts. If conservatives hated Ryan-Murray, they have to love this.

And this effort, following Ryan's frank comments on an inner-city culture that doesn't put a premium on work would seem to signal new messaging from the Wisconsin Republican. I had said previously I didn't think he had any interest in running for President. That prediction seems more off base with each day that passes.

The liberal action was predictable. It's now official, Harry Reid is a Koch addict.
