Okay, so it happened a century ago, that's the point. Several things struck me about this. A hundred years ago:
- Mental health issues were causing mass shootings
- A gun that fires a mere two shots before needing to be reloaded caused this much carnage
- You could rush into a hardware store and get a gun when you need one and rush out with it
- Even then the New York Times didn't know the difference between a double barrel and an automatic shotgun.
