This is such an important lesson in so many ways. Damon is a staunch advocate for public schools...with his words. His actions say something very different. There are two levels of hypocrisy here. First he sings the praises of public schools but they're not good enough for his kids. And the second level of hypocrisy is, when public schools aren't good enough for his kids, he exercises the school choice he would otherwise rail against. Otherwise being when anybody but him wants to exercise that right.
And Damon suggests that L.A. schools aren't liberal enough for his tastes? About the only way to move L.A. public schools to the left would be to make Michael Moore superintendent. What a fraud.
