That was the blood alcohol content of a Janesville teacher who was among staff supervising children on a field trip. That's nearly three times the legal limit for proof of intoxication while driving. Of course, district officials were quick to say the children were safe at all times. I'm not sure how they determined that so quickly, given that their "fact-finding" effort continues.
The report says she admitted that she consumed alcohol at 6 AM before going on the field trip. Okay, what time did this field trip start? .27 is a lot of drinks assuming the trip started in the morning. And NO other adult on this field trip realized this woman was smashed? Really?
