Wanna smell like Captain Kirk?

by Greg Belfrage

Up until now, you had to battle with Spock under the hot Vulcan sun in order to smell like Captain Kirk.  Not anymore.

Now Star Trek fans can wear the scents of their favorite characters thanks to Palm Beach Beaute. The company is marketing a line of four Star Trek fragrances... Tiberius, Sulu, Red Shirt and Pon Farr.

One word of warning... the Pon Farr fragrance can only be worn once every seven years.  Sorry, I couldn't resist.  That's an inside joke for Trekkers and fans of The Big Bang Theory.

The fragrances come in a 3.4-ounce bottle and sell for $39.50.  If you're interested, order them through the official shop at Star Trek.com.

PON FARR is a dramatic and invigorating Eau de Parfum for women with light, clean top notes of Juicy Nectarine, White Violet, Tropical Orchid, with mid and base notes of Mirabelle Plum, Egyptian Jasmine, Vanilla, Sandalwood and Musk.

RED SHIRT is a made for the young, modern man of the galaxy who doesn’t hesitate: who revels in being alive today.  Red Shirt is bright, clean and direct with top notes of Apple, Lemon, Lime and Rosemary  with base notes of Cedar, Musk, Amber, Tonka and Leather.  Red Shirt fragrance instills confidence, showing the universe your strength, your valor, your devotion to living each day as though it could be your last.

TIBERIUS is an Eau de Toilette for men that embodies bravery and spirit, blending chemistry and emotion for a crisp, clean men’s fragrance. TIBERIUS is a casual yet commanding fragrance spiked with raised notes of freshness and sensuality.  A Citrus Accord, Anjou Pear and White Pineapple create refreshingly clear top notes. Black Currant, Summer Melon and Lavender Oil layered over Fresh Woods, a hint of Patchouli, Tree Moss and Musk wrap the scent for a bold fragrance.

SULU is the perfect fragrance for the man who does everything, whether that be cataloging exotic plants, collecting antique firearms, or piloting ancient helicopters and advance starships.  The intrigue begins with fresh notes of White Lavender and Lemon, while the heart is sparked by Aquatic Florals, Juniper Berry and Coriander.  It also boasts an everlasting sense of Amber, White Musk and Sandalwood
