There's really no way to guage how the Packers will fare in the regular season by watching pre-season games, keep in mind, the year the Detroit Lions went 0-16, they were 4 for four in exhibition games that year.  Green Bay dropped to 0-2 by falling to the Cleveland Browns 35-10 in the 63rd Midwest Shrine Game at Lambeau Field before 68,201 fans. The score isn't the only concern.   The Packers backups need to step up, soon. Granted 18 players didn't dress and Cleveland played their starters for a half, but that can't excuse three more interceptions and a Randall Cobb fumble, making 8 turnovers in two weeks.  The backup offensive line couldn't open holes on the ground or protect the pass.  Saddled with poor field position much of the night, Graham Harrell struggled, hitting just 12 of 24 passes for 100 yards with a pair of interceptions, one on a hail mary at the end of the first half, then a pick six from David Sims after Ryan Taylor stumbled to the turf on his route.  Rookie B.J. Coleman threw an ugly pick in the game's final minute.  The start of the game was fine, ball hawk Charles Woodson stripped Montario Hardesty on the opening play of the game and rookie Casey Hayward recovered.  It took Aaron Rodgers three snaps to reach the end zone on a terrific 20 yard scoring catch from Jordy Nelson.  The starting D held the Browns to a field goal but then Cobb fumbled after a catch leading to three more and the Packers, really for the heck of it, went for it on 4th and 2 late in the first quarter, didn't get it and Cleveland number one pick Brandon Weeden led a 45 yard touchdown drive for a 13-7 Browns lead they would not relinquish.   The best thing about the night, no new injuries and another week of practice to try and determine which backups show enough promise to stick.  So far, it looks like they need a couple of hard weeks of practice.  On the link below, post game quotes from Mike McCarthy and some players.
