For the first time this season, the Packers are enjoying a victory Monday, a bonus day off for the players after last night's heartstopping 28-24 win over the Minnesota Vikings.  Admist the glow of finally beating Brett Favre as the enemy quarterback, head coach Mike McCarthy had more bad news on the medical front.  Rookie defensive end Mike Neal will have season ending shoulder surgery tomorrow and Brady Poppinga will have more extensive knee surgery soon, ending his 2010 season as well.   McCarthy is also concerned about the groin injury suffered by Cullen Jenkins in pre-game warmups that eliminated him from the lineup last night.  When Ryan Pickett lasted only 7 snaps on a sprained ankle and was forced to leave, the Packers were left with only three healthy defensive linemen, B.J. Raji who played all but a couple of defensive snaps,  Jarius Wynn and rookie C.J. Wilson.  McCarthy had high praise for the effort put forth by that group in both limiting Adrian Peterson as best they could (131 yards on 28 carries) and pressuring Favre into three second half interceptions.  McCarthy also acknowledged the play of tackles Chad Clifton and rookie Brian Bulaga in limiting the Vikes to zero sacks after getting 14 in the two games last year.  McCarthy also said Brandon Jackson played his best game in his tenure, gaining 58 yards on the ground with a touchdown and hauling in 3 screen passes for another 46 yards.  The game balls were awarded to Jackson on offense, A.J. Hawk on defense and newly arrived Anthony Smith on special teams.  Jarrett Bush got the big hit of the game award.  McCarthy said getting to 4-3 and back into a share of the NFC North Division lead is no reason to celebrate.  He said he won't be waving pom poms around the office, he only wants to filed the Viking victory away and start preparing for the imposing New York Jets at the new Meadowlands Stadium next Sunday.
