For the first time in his 5 year career, Greg Jennings has been named the NFC Offensive Player of Week. The Packers wide receiver reeled in 7 catches for 152 yards and three touchdowns against the Minnesota Vikings last Sunday at the Metrodome as Green Bay rolled up the Vikings 31-3. It's only the third time in team history a receiver had at least 7 catches, 150 or more yards and three scores in a single game. Antonio Freeman in 1998 and Javon Walker in 2004 were the others. Jennings has at least six catches in each of the past five games and is the first Green Bay receiver do that since Sterling Sharpe in 1993. Jennings also becomes the 5th Green Bay player honored for a top performance in the conference. Mason Crosby and Tim Masthay have both earned special teams player of the week honors while Charles Woodson was named the NFC Defensive player of the week once and Clay Matthews has done it twice this season.-
