With the Ryan Braun decision coming out on Thursday, it kind of overshadowed another story coming out of spring training.  Norichika Aoki, the Japanese phenom that the Brewers picked up in the offseason, reported to spring training on Thursday.  He was introduced to the media and said all the right things - through a translator.  But aside from all the baseball-related questions he answered, he added that his father is really looking forward to coming to Wisconsin.  The reason?  HE LOVES BEER!!  I'm not kidding.  Aoki's quote was, "My father, he is a big fan of beer.  He's real excited about coming and trying all the beer in Milwaukee."  He's come to the right place.

Oh, just for the record, Aoki's first workout went well.  Aoki took some batting practice with Rickie Weeks.  Word is Weeks was impressed by Aoki's hitting style.  Let the games begin!
