Is it just me, or do any of you shake your head each year when you see the new list of nominees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? 

Here's this year's list:  Alice Cooper, Beastie Boys, Bon Jovi, Neil Diamond, Chic, Donovan, Dr. John, J. Geils Band, LL Cool J, Darlene Love, Laura Nyro, Donna Summer, Joe Tex, Tom Waits and Chuck Willis.

Nothing says rock and roll like Chic, LL Cool J and Donna Summer - right?  I mean, COME ON!!  Some of the others on the list are debatable as well, but those three stand out like a sore thumb.  Why don't they just rename it the Any Kind of Music Hall of Fame and be done with it?
