The two biggest names in the competitive eating circuit are Joey Chestnut and Takeru Kobayashi.  But Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas - the one-time brat eating champ at Brat Days in Sheboygan - showed the big boys she's still a force to be reckoned with.

Thomas, who stands all of 5 feet tall and weighs 105 pounds, devoured 181 chicken wings in 12 minutes this past Sunday at the 9th annual National Buffalo Wing Festival in Buffalo, New York.  By the way, that's about 4.86 pounds worth of wings.  Chestnut was favored to win, but managed to down "only" 169 chicken wings.  Chestnut, just for comparison's sake, is 6-foot-2 and 230 pounds.

By the way, Thomas said she was still hungry after the contest, calling the wings "an appetizer."  About an hour later, she reportedly made a guest appearance in the "Ridiculously Hot Buffalo Wing Eating Contest" and ate 20 more!!
