The Vikings and Eagles play in a rare Tuesday night NFL game after the league postponed the matchup, which was supposed to take place Sunday night. As you know by now, there was a snowstorm on the way. Heaven forbid we play football in the snow. The reaction to the decision has, for the most part, been negative. In fact, Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell has been very outspoken. He even invoked the name of Vince Lombardi, saying he must be rolling over in his grave.
There is an opinion piece that appeared in Monday's edition of the Philadelphia Daily News that pretty much nails it.
