Some interesting tidbits today:

A Qantas airline passenger had to be restrained by flight stewards after he threatened to bring down the plane with the power of his mind.  An Australian reporter on the flight said it appeared that the man was (surprise surprise) under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or both.

An employee at a fitness club in Minnesota called police after spotting a bearded man who appeared to be covered in blood using the showers.  Police surrounded the club, but later learned that the man had simply been playing Jesus in a local church play.

A 19 year old Florida woman - Tasha Lee Cantrell - was riding in a car when the vehicle's driver was pulled over and arrested for drunk driving.  Cantrell asked the sheriff's deputy for a ride home afterwards and the officer agreed.  As Cantrell was sitting in the back of the squad car, she opened up a can of malt liquor.  Cantrell was immediately arrested for underage drinking.

And a survey has found that women, on average, spend 2 years and 10 months shopping during their lifetimes. I know...your reaction is, "That's all?"
