Is this really surprising? Yes, the big programs generate revenue. But as tuition rises and the marketability of grads seems to fall, isn't it time to look at priorities here? We talk so much about school choice K-12 and yes public higher education does have competition from private schools, but those market forces don't seem to have been enough to make public colleges and universities provide a good education at a good value, or at least affordably.
